After convincing our own school, Miss Porter's, to increase renewable energy in our school by adding solar panels to the new community life building, we finally met with the Farmington Town Council. We presented our plan on why we should increase renewable energy in the area and its benefits. We are excited to work with them in the future.

About Me >
My name is Naima Autumn Rose Small. I am 17, and I attend Miss Porters School and am in the 12th grade. At school, I am interested in history and science and want to pursue law as an adult. I believe that investing in renewable energy is important because CO2 emissions are hurting the world I am growing up in.

About Me >
Hi! My name is Alizeh Raza and I am a current senior at Miss Porter’s School. As long as I can remember, I have always been enchanted by the wonders of science and how it affects the world we live in today. Now, as a twelfth grader, have I actually noticed that our world is deteriorating due to climate change and global warming. Because of this, I hope to educate people, especially girls, my age on how we can bring a change to the world we live in.

About Me >
Hello! My name is Shamreethaa Seeniraj and I am a current senior at an all-girls school. Throughout my whole life, I have always been interested in the STEM fields (particularly science and math) and it is this interest that caused me to realize the enormous gender gap in such fields. I hope to raise awareness for current global issues and also bring to light how they impact our society.
